About Felipe Ramos

Ramos is a manager in a financial market and also a musician. He dominated the local poker scene for two years in 2006 and 2007. He then decided to become a pro at the game and has never looked back. He has been playing poker professionally since January of 2008. Until now he has won more than $2.5 million in tournaments. He has made it to the final tables of some of the world’s most prestigious tournaments.

The year he began playing professional poker, Ramos aced at two major international events and became the first Brazilian to do so. The day was widely celebrated by the poker community inBrazilas they witnessed the local player representing the country at an international level.

He is known as the cleverest poker pro in his country. He writes for a number of poker magazines and has written two poker books, which will be released this year. One of the books is on Pot-Limit Omaha, a game in which he excels. Ramos has reached Pot-Limit Omaha event final table at WSOP in Vegas,Europeand Circuit among others.
